Ana Duarte
Dr Ana Duarte is a Portuguese ophthalmologist dedicated to eyelid and orbital surgery, with particular expertise in blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, and eyelid reconstruction. She has trained extensively in Portugal and abroad, completing advanced clinical fellowships in Brazil and Argentina under renowned experts in oculoplastic surgery.
Her practice focuses on both functional and aesthetic eyelid procedures, including the management of eyelid malpositions, periocular rejuvenation and reconstructive surgery.
Alongside her clinical work, Dr Duarte maintains a strong commitment to scientific research and medical education. She has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in the field of oculoplastic surgery. She is regularly invited to speak at national and international meetings and actively contributes to the training of residents and specialists through lectures and surgical courses.


She is currently pursuing a PhD in Medicine, with a research focus on eyelid physiology and orbicularis oculi muscle function.
