Hannah is an award-winning surgeon recognised for her contributions to ophthalmology. She has received prestigious awards from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth), the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS), and the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS).
After graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Edinburgh, she completed her rigorous specialist ophthalmic training in Edinburgh and London. This was followed by three years of extensive advanced sub-specialist fellowship training in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal, and Orbital Surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
As an Honorary Lecturer at University College London (UCL), she is passionate about training the next generation of surgeons. She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in research into lacrimal surgery and eyelid cancer management.

Dr Timlin provides expert diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions affecting the eyelids and tear ducts. Her key areas of surgical expertise include:
- Aesthetic eyelid surgery: Specialising in upper & lower blepharoplasty and brow lifting
- Watery Eyes (Epiphora): Specialising in modern, scarless endoscopic tear duct surgery (Endo-DCR), revision endoscopic tear duct surgery and insertion of lacrimal bypass tubes (Jones Tubes) to resolve watering or stickiness.
- Eyelid Lumps & Cysts: Safe, delicate, and precise removal of chalazions, styes, cysts, and other skin lesions around the eye.
- Eyelid Position Correction:- Drooping Eyelids (Ptosis): Surgical correction to restore a natural eye appearance and improve vision.
- In-turning Eyelids (Entropion): Corrective surgery to prevent corneal irritation and discomfort.
- Out-turning Eyelids (Ectropion): Re-positioning the eyelid to protect the eye and relieve symptoms.
