Operations Manager

Fernando is an experienced healthcare operations and compliance professional with over a decade of leadership experience in the UK private and NHS healthcare sector and internationally. As Operations Manager at The Ezra Clinic, he oversees the daily management, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and a seamless patient experience across all sites.

With a background in business administration and extensive experience as a CQC Registered Manager, Fernando has successfully led multidisciplinary teams, implemented quality standards, and optimized operational systems for clinics offering both surgical and non-surgical treatments.

Fernando is highly knowledgeable in working with high end patients and is recognised for his professionalism, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality, delivering an exceptional standard of personalised service to every patient.

Before joining The Ezra Clinic, Fernando held management roles within several leading healthcare clinics and groups where he was instrumental in improving compliance, patient satisfaction, and operational performance.

Fluent in English and Portuguese, Fernando brings a global perspective to healthcare management, combining strategic leadership with a compassionate, patient-centred approach. Outside of work, he is a proud dad to Oz and Teddy and enjoys staying active through regular gym classes.

Karen Papier

Practice Manager

Karen has worked within medical practices since 1987, starting in the world of obstetrics and gynaecology, fertility, and then orthopaedics before coming to work for Daniel Ezra in 2013. She has been with him since the early days of his private practice and has enjoyed watching the practice grow and is now Daniel’s practice manager. Karen’s passion is football, and she is a big Liverpool fan who is always happy to show anyone a photo of her beloved Cockapoo, Archie.

Aly Shalson

Executive Assistant

Prior to joining Daniel Ezra’s practice in 2018, Aly spent her early career working in public relations in consumer marketing. She took a career break to bring up her three children before becoming a cookery writer and recipe developer where she became a major contributor to eight mainstream cookery books, five of which accompanied a popular TV series. In her spare time Aly enjoys the gym, theatre and watching TV documentaries.

Julie Davidson

Executive Assistant

Julie has a background in marketing within the fashion and beauty industries and is part of the admin team at The Ezra Clinic. She is also a qualified counsellor, which reflects her genuine interest in people, their stories and understanding what may be happening for others beneath the surface. As one of the first points of contact for patients, Julie brings a warm, thoughtful, and caring approach to her role and values being part of the clinic’s close knit team. Outside of work, she enjoys socialising, reading and Pilates.

Susie Tyrell

Executive Assistant

Susie joined the team in August 2023, previously having worked in the medical field for a private hospital.

Prior to having worked for the Ezra clinic Susie’s roles have always consisted of customer service and being front of house.

In her spare time Susie enjoys socialising, listening to music, playing pool, and
working out.

Anna Wozniakowska

Medical Secretary

Anna joined the practice in May 2026 as a Medical Secretary to Daniel Ezra. Private healthcare is not new to Anna, having previously worked as a Patient Liaison Lead as well as a Surgical Treatment Coordinator at high end clinics. Through her experience, Anna has developed a strong passion for patient care and providing a high level of service throughout the patient journey.

Before moving into private healthcare, Anna gained experience across a variety of sectors, including hospitality, retail and education. She enjoys working in fast-paced environments and building strong relationships with both patients and colleagues. Anna takes pride in being organised, approachable and attentive to detail, and enjoys making each patient’s experience as smooth and positive as possible.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys travelling, keeping active through Muay Thai and
cooking.

Eleanor Wells

Patient Care Coordinator

Eleanor joined The Ezra Clinic in March 2026, working across both patient care and administration. With a strong interest in patient care, she enjoys working closely with people and being a friendly and supportive point of contact throughout their time at the clinic.

Eleanor enjoys getting to know patients and supporting them throughout their journey, from their first enquiry and consultations through to treatment and follow-up care. She also works closely with the wider clinical and administrative teams to help ensure each patient’s experience runs smoothly.

Outside of work, Eleanor has a background in graphic design for TV and film, which has given her a lasting love of all things creative. She continues to design and create in her spare time, whether working on personal projects or simply finding new ways to be creative.
