During the procedure

On the day of your treatment, your doctor will first clean the temple area and designate the injection points. They may apply a topical numbing cream to ease any discomfort, or an ice pack or spray-on pain reducer.

Then, with the site numbed, they will begin the procedure, injecting the dermal filler into the temples. You may feel a slight pinch as the needle enters, but the process is largely painless and quick, typically lasting under half an hour.

Temple filler aftercare

Post-procedure, you may notice some results immediately, but you will need to wait a couple of days or even several weeks for the full results to become apparent.

Fortunately, since this is a low-risk and minimally invasive procedure, you will not have to stay at the clinic and can usually return to your routine right away. However, depending on your health and lifestyle, you might prefer to take one to two days of rest before starting work.
